Dear Friends,
We just found out that Gear has been nominated for two 2007 Tackee David Awards. The store got nominated as Favorite Business and John was nominated as Favorite Business Owner. We couldn’t be more proud!
In case you don’t know about the Tackee Davids, they’re produced by David Cobbs and recognize the Desert’s favorite LGBT bars, restaurants, waiters, business owners and resorts. The awards are determined by your votes at various voting parties that will be held over the next few weeks. If you happen to be out and about, we hope you’ll drop by one or more of the parties and cast a vote for us! Although you can only vote once at each party, you can vote at as many parties as you wish.

New this year: on Tuesday, April 10 you can cast a vote online at tackeeawards.com. Even if you can’t make one of the parties, we hope you’ll place a vote for us through the web.
The Tackee David Awards show itself is on Monday, April 16 at The Villa Resort. The doors will open at 6:30pm with showtime at 8:00pm. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased through the web site above. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local charities.
